After you address all errors in the machine Setup dialog, you're ready to generate a machine program. Program Transfer options are used to generate the final machine program. Depending on the machine type, one or more local files will be generated or the program may be transferred directly to the machine.

FactoryLogix ensures that every part number to be included in the machine program has a Yamaha package associated to it. If any part number is present and does not have an association recorded, an error report displays listing all part numbers without package associations. (See Package Matching tab options for more information.)

  1. Select Program Transfer in the Machine List window.

  2. The Target Directory selection allows you to change the location of the generated machine program. Select the ellipsis (...) to open a dialog where you can specify a different location from the one shown.

  3. The File Name field allows you to change the name of the machine program file being generated.

  4. Select Show Directory to display the file location of the machine program directory.

  5. Select Generate Program to generate the machine program.

    The machine program is generated automatically and saved to the target directory. It will also generate the kitting report if the option was selected in the Edit Properties section.

  6. Select Show Program to display the machine program.
