User settings affect how you interact with FactoryLogix features and functions. You can access your own user settings in the Settings area of the FactoryLogix Office client application.

Your license type determines the features and functionality you can access in the FactoryLogix system. Throughout the documentation, it's important to note that the options you see in the FactoryLogix user interface depend on the license type assigned to you.

The following table shows the high-level categories and option types for FactoryLogix user settings. When you select an option, a detailed description of the option displays at the bottom of the dialog.

You use the My Options tab to configure your user settings:

Allows you to change the default value or displays Not Applicable

  1. Select a new setting for the option from the Default Value drop-down or enter a new value.

  2. Continue to change other user options on the My Options tab as needed, then
