ADMINISTRATOR
A system administrator creates user roles and determines the permissions that each user role has. User role permissions combined with FactoryLogix global options allow different types of access to all areas of the FactoryLogix system.
A system administrator manages user role permissions in various categories and sub-categories of the FactoryLogix system. Each category has individual permissions that the administrator can enable or disable for a selected user role.
Important
Your license type determines the features and functionality you can access in the FactoryLogix system. Throughout the documentation, it's important to note that the options you see in the FactoryLogix user interface depend on the license type assigned to you.
Note
To quickly search for a permission, select the first column header on the Permissions tab, press Ctrl+F, enter the search term, then press Enter. The search results are highlighted in Yellow as shown in the following illustration.
