After you create the Enterprise BI website, site administrators must register each site (factory) in the NPI client application before BI users can connect to the Enterprise Warehouse and begin receiving data from FactoryLogix. You can also select the starting date from which to collect data.

  1. On a client workstation for a site, log into the NPI client application with administrator rights.

  2. Select System Configuration > Enterprise Warehouse.

  3. In the Server Settings dialog, specify the Host Name of Enterprise Server, a protocol (HTTP or HTTPS), and the Port number of the Enterprise BI website.

  4. (Optional) Enter the Tenant ID.

Important

If there is only one tenant, leave the Tenant ID field blank.

 

  1. Under Site Settings, enter the Site Name (the Site ID is populated automatically).

  2. To change the starting date from which to collect data, use the Only Sync Data Newer Than drop-down to select a different date. (If you leave the field blank, all data will be synchronized.)

    Example: If you select January 1, 2019, all data from January 1, 2019 forward will be synchronized; older data will not be included.

  3. Select the Register button to register the site.

    Under Enterprise Users, you can view the people in your organization who have access to view enterprise data.
