Create a desktop shortcut for iMonitor Viewer

To create a desktop shortcut that allows users to quickly launch iMonitor Viewer and run selected dashboards and slideshows automatically, you need to first locate the FactoryLogix installation directory that contains iMonitor Viewer.exe so you can point to that location. (The directory is located in different places depending on the version of Windows you use.) 

1. Open the Windows File Explorer.

2. (Windows 10 users) Locate and open the FactoryLogix Applications directory located here:
   
   C:\Program Files (X86)\Aegis\FactoryLogix Applications
   
   

3. Locate and right-click iMonitorViewer.exe, then select Send to > Desktop (Create Shortcut).

   The iMonitor Viewer shortcut displays on your desktop.

   You can now configure the desktop shortcut to use command line parameters to start iMonitor Viewer and run specific dashboards and/or slide shows automatically when you double-click the shortcut.
