In addition to adding new parts to the Part Library, you can create new revisions of existing Internal Part Numbers as the parts evolve over time. A part revision level is typically one or more identifying numbers or letters that represent the number of times a part drawing or specification document was changed.
- Log into the FactoryLogix Office client application.
- Select
Libraries > Part Library. - On the Internal Part Number tab, select the part you want to create a revision for.
- On the library toolbar, select New Revision
(the Green Up arrow).
- Enter the details for this part revision, then select OK.
