The My Data Sources tab of the Enterprise BI website shows the data sources a user or user role can access. The data sources displayed depend on how the user or user role was set up by the administrator. Use the scroll bars in the My Data Sources window to review the summarized data before importing it into your BI tool of choice (Power BI, Adobe Analytics, SAP Crystal Reports, and others). Any tools that support OData importing work with the Enterprise Warehouse.
For example, an administrator might set up a user role named Shop Floor Supervisors and only allow those users to access WIP Summary, Part Consumption, Work by Batch, and On Time Work Orders data. Other users or user roles might require access to more or less data, depending on their data requirements and responsibilities.
- Log into your Enterprise BI website.
- Select the Sites tab, then select a site from the Sites list on the left side of the window.
The data sources you can access are shown under My Data Sources (the Not Accessible list shows data sources you don't have permission to access). - Select a data source under My Data Sources on the left side of the window.
When you select a data source, the last date the data was updated and the total record count are displayed under My Data Source Information.
The lower half of the window shows the last 25 records that were processed for the selected data source. - Under Last 25 Records, use the scroll bars to review the FactoryLogix data that you can import into your BI tool of choice.
