Global operations features in NPI provide the ability to assign global operation aliases and configure global packout and global shipping reports. Global operations are highly configurable and are not tied to a specific process definition in FactoryLogix.
Global operation aliases are used to define global operations accessible from the Production client application. Operation aliasing allows process engineers to group similar operations from one or more process flows for reporting purposes and dashboards.
