The enterprise administrator who creates and configures the Enterprise Warehouse database and the Enterprise BI website can add a tenant to the BI website and test the connection. (Site administrators configure each individual site.) 

  1. Start FactoryLogix Server Management.

  2. Select Enterprise Warehouse Configuration.

  3. Select the Add Tenant Add Tenant buttonImage Modified button, then enter a Tenant Name.

  4. Under Database Utilities, select the Add Connection button.

  5. In the Edit Database Connection dialog, enter the Server Name.

  6. Select Use Windows Authentication or Use SQL Server Authentication (for SQL authentication, enter a user name and password, then confirm the password).

  7. Under Database, select the Enterprise Warehouse database you created from the drop-down, then select OK.

  8. Select the Test Connection button.

    If the connection is successful, you will see a confirmation message. Select OK.

  9. Select Create Database.

  10. Select Save and Close.

  11. Start FactoryLogix Server Management.

  12. Select Services Setting from the Home window.

  13. Make sure your FactoryLogix database is selected in the drop-down.

  14. Make sure the FactoryLogix Enterprise Warehouse Service is running.

  15. Make sure the FactoryLogix Report Scheduler Service is running.

  16. Open a browser and enter the url of the website you created.

  17. At the log in prompt, enter the default User ID AegisAdmin (no password), then select the Login button.

    The Warehouse Data Transfer Service starts synchronizing data between the factory sites and the enterprise.
