To draw attention to specific assembly parts in a 3D CAD image, you can color selected sub-assemblies or individual parts.


Assembly before applying colorImage Modified

  1. In the Process Definition window, select the sub-assembly or part you want to apply a color to. (Ctrl+click to select multiple parts.)
  2. Right-click the part, then select Set Color from the menu. (If you selected multiple parts, right-click any selected part.)

  3. Click a blank area of the window to view the applied color.

  4. To modify the color, right-click a colored part, then select Modify Color from the menu to display the Color Picker.
  5. Use the Color Picker slider control and the cursor to select a new color, select Apply, then select OK to confirm your color choice.

  6. You can now color additional sub-assemblies or parts using the new color. If desired, you can use the Modify Color command at any time to select another color.
  7. To remove color from a selected part, right-click the part, then select Unset Color from the menu.
