An equipment profile allows CFX capabilities to be supported by devices utilizing the equipment profile you specify. The equipment profile tells the device how the tags will be read and how the CFX will be generated.
The Equipment Profiles area of the CFX Gateway provides read-only visibility to the settings and capabilities assigned to your defined equipment profiles. (You create and modify an equipment profile in the Devices area of the CFX Gateway.)

- Select Equipment Profiles ion the left side of the CFX Gateway window to view a list of all available equipment profiles.
The window displays all previously defined equipment profiles, their descriptions, capabilities, and device counts.
- On the right side of the window, select the View Equipment Profile button next to the equipment profile you want to view (read only).
Scroll down to view details about the capabilities and CFX message tag mapping for the equipment profile.
