  1. Log into the Analytics client application, then select iMonitor Designer.

  2. Select File > New.

  3. On the left side of the window, select the Performance (Job Related) category in the Toolbox to populate all the relative gadgets for this category.

  4. Double-click the Active Batch Information gadget or select the gadget and drag it into the work area.

    The Set Gadget Data Source dialog displays.

There is an option in the dialog that forces the Set Gadget Data Source dialog to open each time a gadget is added to a dashboard. If this option is off, select the Information icon

  2. Select the Lookup button, then enter the first letter of a workstation name in the Look Up dialog.

    The Look Up field isn't case sensitive and the results window will display all workstations that start with the letter(s) you enter.

To return all data quickly in the Look Up dialog, enter an asterisk * character.

  1. Select a workstation, select OK, then select Finished to add the gadget to the dashboard work area.

Tip

Each time you add a data source name to a gadget, the Set Gadget Data Source dialog updates a listing of each data source used for that gadget and is available in the shortcut window. You can quickly select names from the shortcut window instead of having to perform the lookup each time. 

  1. To resize the selected gadget, use the resizing handles.

  2. To move the gadget, drag it to a new position in the window.

  3. To change the gadget's features and data display, select the gadget, then select View > Properties.

  4. Use the options in the Properties dialog to modify the gadget. (See Gadget properties for more information about the Properties dialog options.)

  5. Select the Quality (Defect Related) category from the Toolbox.

  6. Drag the Defects Bar Chart gadget onto the work area, select the same data source type and name as you did for the Active Batch Information gadget, then select Finished to create the chart.

  2. Select the Quality (Yield) category from the Toolbox, drag the gadget Pass Yield Gauge onto the work area, select the same data source type and name as you did for the Defects Bar Chart gadget, then select Finished.

  2. Select the Miscellaneous category from the Toolbox, then drag a Text Label onto the work area for the Yield, then repeat for the Defect Chart.

    Regardless of the locations and size of the gadgets the dashboard should look similar to the following image.
