If a data source cannot be applied to a metric, the metric will be dimmed on the left side of the window.
Data Sources buttons | Data Sources buttons – These buttons in the upper-left corner of the Dashboards window allow you to:  Image Modified Add a new data source – Displays a dialog where you can make selections to create a new data source.
 Image Modified Set a data source for a selected metric – Sets the data source for the currently selected metric.
 Image Modified Edit a data source – Displays options for modifying a data source.
 Image Modified Remove unused data sources from a dashboard – Removes all unused data sources for the current dashboard.
