In addition to adding new parts to the Part Library, you can create new revisions of existing Internal Part Numbers as the parts evolve over time. A part revision level is typically one or more identifying numbers or letters that represent the number of times a part drawing or specification document was changed.

1. Log into the NPI client application.

2. Select  Libraries > Image Added > Part Library.

3. On the Internal Part Number tab, select the part you want to create a revision for.
   
   

   

   
   

4. On the library toolbar, select New Revision  select the New Revision Image Added button (the Green Up arrow).
   
   

   

   
   

5. Enter the details for this part revision, then select OK.
