Production routing (the route followed during each step of a manufacturing process to transform components and raw materials into a final product) shows the production flow that needs to be achieved in your factory. Routing determines the work to be performed and where and how it will be done.

FactoryLogix gives you precise production routing control to help optimize your manufacturing process. The routing decides the path and sequence of operations to be performed on a job from one machine or workstation to another. Routing helps you establish the best sequence of operations so that creating the finished product is done as quickly as possible and at the lowest cost possible. When you set up a production route in FactoryLogix, you can quickly and easily enforce the sequence of steps in the route, add exceptions for abnormal route exits, build in reroute logic, and set up unit quarantining logic to determine how to handle defective products that don't meet your manufacturing specifications.
