Note:

Workbooks you create in DataMiner are cached locally.

Save a workbook

You can save DataMiner workbooks (specifically data tables) in *.xml, *.txt, or *.xls formats.

  • To save a DataMiner workbook in Microsoft Excel (*.xslx), XML (*.xml), or text *.txt) format, select the Save As button in the lower-right corner of the DataMiner window, select a location and file format, then select Save.

    Note:

To export data grid and pivot table data to a specified location automatically using the Report Scheduler, you need to purchase the xStream option. When xStream is installed, a new Export Location tab in the Report Scheduler allows you to specify a default location for exporting scheduled reports. See Use the Report Scheduler for more information about scheduling reports.

Close a workbook

  1. To close a DataMiner workbook, select the Close (X)  button in the upper-right corner of the workbook.
  2. When you see the prompt, select Yes to close the workbook or select No to discard it.
