The Setup dialog has several tabs where you can validate and/or modify machine settings. The General tab allows you to make adjustments to information about the board. Most of this information is populated directly from FactoryLogix if you previously entered the information in the Process Definition window for this assembly.

Board Reference
The board reference for the assembly (this is the assembly name you specified in the Process tree.
Board Designation
The board designation for the assembly (this is the process revision you specified when you created the process revision in the Process Definition window).
Bar Code
The barcode for the assembly (if one exists).
File Code
The file code for the assembly (if one exists).
Customer Code
The customer code for the assembly (if you specified one when you created the assembly).
Version Code
The assembly revision (if you specified one when you created the assembly).
Programmer
The name of the programmer for this project
Comments
Comments related to the project.
Alignment Method
The alignment method to use the project:
None - The machine will not attempt to align the board using programmed fiducials.
Manual - Requires the operator to manually input the locations of the fiducials.
Automatic - Allows the machine to locate the fiducials on its own.
Reference Mark Color
The mark color for the project (the contrast between the fiducial and the board):
Black/White is a dark fiducial on a light background.
White/Black is a light fiducial on a dark background.
Optimization Mode
The optimization mode for the project: Auto, Stripe, or Closest Pair.
Optimization Method
The optimization methof for the project: Standard, 1234 Method, or Mac Library.
Machine Zero to FactoryLogix Zero Offset
You can select Use Board Corner or Custom.
If you select Use Board Corner, you also need to select the board corner: Right Front,Left Front, Right Back, or Left Back.
If you select Custom, you also need to enter the X and Y coordinates (in Millimeters) of the board.
Exclude Package Names in Exported File
Excludes package information when generating the machine program file.
Note:
If you don't select this option, FactoryLogix will add the part number/package link information to the ITEM section at the end of the file in the following form: part number, package description, package name.
