There may be times when you need to change an IPN part type.
- Log into the NPI client application.
- Select Libraries
> Part Library. - On the Internal Part Number tab, select the IPN you want to change.
- Select Change Part Type on the toolbar, then select a different part type from the menu (General, Electronic, Consumable, or Tooling).
