Aegis has developed the following recommended platform specification to support a typical MES control and traceability system. Aegis has used performance testing results in conjunction with past deployment experience to provide these recommendations. The following specification is designed to ensure optimal system performance, provide ample data storage and fault tolerance, and allow for possible growth for at least three years. As with any software solution, the specifications are subject to change. As is the nature of software, the specifications provided at the time the system deployed may change and require hardware and/or software upgrades throughout the life of the deployed system.
