An unattended user is an account used to launch dashboards from a hyperlink, bypassing the need to log into Analytics. A FactoryLogix administrator controls unattended user access in NPI > System Configuration >Users and Roles (Manage People tab). When the Unattended Dashboard Viewer check box is selected, that user will be able to launch a dashboard without needing to log in.
