The CTO Comparison tab gives you the ability to compare two different configurable assemblies (CTO) or two different variants of the same CTO assembly.

  1. Log into the FactoryLogix Office client application.
  2. Select Process Engineering > Product Comparisons.
  3. Select the CTO Comparison tab.
  4. Under Assembly Information, select the ellipsis (...) to the right of the Assembly A drop-down.
  5. Use the Search options in the Please select an Assembly dialog to locate the CTO assemblies you want to compare. You can search by assembly or customer and also filter by date.
  6. Select the desired assembly, then select OK.
  7. Repeat Step 4 by selecting the ellipsis (...) next to the Assembly B drop-down.
  8. Repeat Step 5 and Step 6 to locate Assembly B for the comparison.

    Note:

You can also use the Assembly A and Assembly B drop-downs to select assemblies for comparison.

  9. Use the Options selections in the upper-right corner of the window to further refine the comparison results: Select a Variant and a Process for each assembly, then select the Compare button.

The results of the CTO comparison are shown under Comparison Results. All the differences between the selected CTO assemblies and variants are shown, including any different operations, steps, activities, or material setup. If no differences are found, the category will display No Results Found.
