About user roles

The default user role in FactoryLogix is named Everyone.

Your system will likely need multiple user roles, each with a different level of system access and permissions. For example, you may decide to create one or two "super user" roles with more access and permissions than other user roles. You may also decide to create user roles that only allow certain people access to specific areas of the system such as NPI, Logistics, or Production (shop floor). For example, some manufacturing roles might include Assembler, Inspector, Packing Operator, Quality and Test Engineer, Parts Manager, Supervisor, or Process Engineer. How you set up user roles depends on your manufacturing processes and preferences.
