Remove checked out processes

Users who check out processes in the NPI client application for editing may sometimes leave those processes checked out. In such cases, other users can't check out those processes for editing. In the Schedule Projects area of NPI, you can delete checked-out processes to unlock them, allowing other users to check them out for editing.

1. Log into the NPI client application.

2. Select Process Engineering 

   

    > Schedule Projects to display the Projects window.

3. Select the Checkout Management

   

    button in the upper-left corner of the window.
   
   

   

   
   
   

4. In the Checkout Management dialog, select the checked-out process you want to remove, then select the Remove Checkout  button.
   
   

   Tip

   Use Shift+click or Ctrl+click to select multiple checked-out processes for removal.

5. When prompted to confirm the deletion, select Yes. Your selections turn Red.

6. Select Save.

7. When you see the prompt to confirm the checkout removal, select Yes.
