Introduction

Analytics icon

The Analytics application on the FactoryLogix website provides tools and features to create, edit, and view dashboards that display real-time access to production information in your factory. You can also create dashboards and slide shows to place in production lines, providing data specific to a workstation, line, or factory area. Analytics also offers a variety of customizable metrics that make use of gauges and other visuals you can configure based on your factory’s specific needs.

Important!

Analytics (web) does not replace the FactoryLogix Analytics desktop client application; it offers customers the convenience of using key Analytics features from the FactoryLogix website.

Important!

You must already own a FactoryLogix Analytics license and at least one iMonitor Viewer license to use Analytics to create, view, and run dashboards and slide shows. Contact Aegis if you'd like to purchase one or more Analytics and iMonitor Viewer licenses.

Analytics has features that help you do the following:

  • Quickly create, edit, and run dashboards, all in one environment
  • Add DataMiner published charts and reports to your dashboards
  • Display dashboards on any device (mobile phone, tablet, computer screen, TV/monitor)
  • Share links to dashboards so workplace colleagues can view important real-time data
  • Set up one or more dashboards as an unattended slide show to run during production runs to provide valuable, real-time manufacturing data to factory floor personnel
  • Deploy dashboards onsite only or offsite if access is required from a remote location such as another factory
  • Group gauges and other data to quickly reference information within groups
  • Associate limits on specific gauges to define acceptable ranges
  • Display equipment information through xLink-enabled machines

    Note:

See Using Analytics for more information about DataMiner charts and reports.
