For panelized assemblies, circuit-mapping at the operation-level is used to map the individual circuits in a panel such that defect indictments and material traceability data is related to the correct circuit, as many machines differ in their circuit ordering sequence.

To modify circuit mapping, follow these steps.

  1. Log into the NPI client application and open the CAD file for the panelized assembly.
  2. Double-click the desired operation.
  3. Select the step where you want to map the circuits.
  4. Select the Document Tools tab, then select the Circuit Mapping toolbar button.
  5. In the Circuit Mapping dialog, use the Mapped Circuit Location column to map the circuits by entering the desired sequence or name for each circuit.
