Move UIDs to stock

Moving one or multiple UIDs to a different stock location is possible using the Move to Stock feature in the Logistics client application. 

1. Log into the Logistics client application.
2. Select Move to Stock.
3. At the top of the window, do one of the following:
   
   
   • Select the Single UID button to search for a single UID.
   • Select the Multiple UIDs button to search for multiple UIDs simultaneously.
     
     
4. Next to ID, enter the UID you want to search for, then select the Submit button (the check mark) to the right of the text box.
   
   The search results are displayed in the table and the Messages area of the window indicates the number of UIDs found (depending on your selection in Step 3).

   If you selected Multiple UIDs in Step 3, the Status column of the table indicates whether the found UIDs are permitted to be moved.
   
   
5. (If you selected Single UID in Step 3, proceed to Step 6). If you selected Multiple UIDs in Step 3, do one of the following:
   
   
   • Select the Move check box for the UIDs you want to move to stock.
   • Select the Select All check box to move all UIDs.
   • Select the Scan Select check box if you're using a barcode scanner. As IDs are scanned with a scanner, the check boxes are selected automatically.
     
     
6. Next to Select Location, use the drop-down to select the stock location where the UIDs will be moved.
7. (Optional) Enter a stock name in the Stock Name text box.
8.  Select the Submit UIDs button (the check mark) to the right of Select Location to move all selected UIDs to the stock location you selected.
   
   When the move is successful, the Messages area will display a confirmation message as shown in the following illustrations. Under History, you a list of all UIDs moved and their new stock location is displayed.
