Page Comparison

To check out a BOM, CAD, or process for editing in the Process Definition window, follow these steps.

1. Log into

1. the NPI

1.  client application.

2. Select Process Engineering 

1. Image Added > Define Processes, then create a new assembly or assembly revision or open an existing process.

2. In

1. the Process Definition

1.  window, double-click a BOM, CAD, or process in the Process tree to open it for editing.
   
   When an item is checked out for editing, you will see a padlock

1. Image Added icon next to it in the Process tree.

2. Make the desired changes to the BOM, CAD, or process.

3. To check in an edited BOM, CAD, or process, select the padlock

1. Image Added icon in the Process tree to Save and Check In your changes.
