Introduction

FactoryLogix website default settings are particularly useful if you want colors to look consistent without having to reset the options for each new item you create.

Default settings:

• Font, font size, text attributes, and text alignment
• Default foreground and background colors to be applied automatically to specific dashboard metrics that can use those color attributes
• Default language for the website
  
  

Resources

The FactoryLogix website Home window has an option named Resources where you can select the following FactoryLogix preferences and settings:

• Dashboard font, color, size, and style settings (for use with Analytics only)

• A default language for the website
  
  

  Note:

  The Set Location selection under Resources is used with Logistics and is not needed for Analytics.

  
  

Set dashboard preferences

Default settings for dashboards are particularly useful if you plan to create many similar dashboards and want them to look consistent without having to reset the options for each new dashboard you create.

Default settings:

• Font, font size, text attributes, and text alignment
• Default foreground and background colors to be applied automatically to specific dashboard metrics that can use those color attributes
• Default language for the website
  
  

1. After logging into the FactoryLogix website, select Preferences in the Resources area of the FactoryLogix Home window.
2. Select the Dashboard button on the left side of the window.
3. Under Dashboard Settings, select your preferred font, font size, text attributes (Bold, Italic, Underline), text alignment, and vertical text alignment options.

4. Use the Background Color and Foreground Color palettes to select the default Background and Foreground color to use for certain dashboard metrics that you can assign colors to (for example, the Current Time metric).
   
   

   Note:

   You can select dashboard foreground and background colors from the palette or enter specific hexadecimal values.

   
   
   

Select a default language

The default language you select is used for the entire FactoryLogix website.

1. In the FactoryLogix website Home window, select Preferences in the Resources area of the Home window.

2. Select the Language button on the left side of the window.
   
   
   
   
   The selected language will be used until you change it.
   
   

   Tip

   Use the left arrow and right arrow buttons to toggle the display of commands on the left side of the window at any time. Use the menu button to display or hide the FactoryLogix website main menu at the top of the window.
