When working with 3D CAD files in the Process Definition window, you use the Nav Cube control to move and rotate the image. The Nav Cube control shows you the assembly faces (Top, Bottom, Left, Right, Back, and Front). 


Note:

You can also use the toolbar (Camera menu options) Camera menu toolbar button to change the orientation of an assembly in the Process Definition window.




  1. Position the cursor on the Nav Cube control. Notice the blue square that moves as you move the cursor. Select the following link to view a short video that shows the Cube control in action.

  2. Click an assembly face on the Nav Cube control (Top, Bottom, Left, Right, Back, and Front) to reorient the assembly.

    Tip

    You can also change the orientation of an assembly by positioning the cursor anywhere in the window, hold down the mouse button, then move the mouse. As the assembly orientation changes, the Nav Cube control indicates the assembly face you're viewing.
