User settings affect how you interact with FactoryLogix features and functions. You can access your own user settings in the Settings area of the NPI client application.


My Options tab


The following table shows the high-level categories and option types for FactoryLogix user settings. When you select an option, a detailed description of the option displays at the bottom of the dialog.

You use the My Options tab to configure your user settings:

Option NameDisplays the global option category and individual options
My Value 

Displays the current value for a global option

Default Value

Allows you to change the default value or displays Not Applicable


The following table shows the categories and option types for FactoryLogix user settings on the My Options tab. When you select an option, a description displays at the bottom of the window.

Note:

  1. Log into the NPI client application.
  2. Select System Configuration System Configuration button > Settings.
  3. Select the My Options tab, select a category, then select the option you want to change in the Option Name column. (A detailed description of the option displays at the bottom of the window.)

    Note:

    Only the options you can change are displayed on the My Options tab.

  4. Select a new setting for the option from the Default Value drop-down or enter a new value.

  5. Continue to change other user options on the My Options tab as needed, then select Save.
