By default, the system will not select records to archive automatically. Three sets of options in the Archive Settings and Scheduling window control whether auto archiving is enabled for specific types of data:
- Batch/GRN Auto Archiving Settings
- Materials Auto Archiving Settings
- Machine Performance Data Auto Archiving Settings
You can also select options that drive when records are evaluated and scheduled for auto archiving.
To enable auto archiving for a certain type of record, enable the master setting in the appropriate section, then configure other settings as needed. For details about auto archiving settings, see Archive Settings and scheduling parameters.
