We recommend you use the Historical Archive Queue window as the primary way to identify and review archived data. See Review archival data for more information.

When a batch and items in that batch are archived, you can still review archived items in the Trace window of the Production client application. This feature lets you review archived items for historical purposes or to alert administrators when an archived item that needs additional work needs to be restored.

  1. Log into the Production client application.
  2. Select Advanced Features Advanced Features button > Trace to display the Trace window.
  3. Select the ellipsis button (...), then enter a barcode in the Lookup dialog that belongs to a batch that was archived but not restored.

In the Genealogy Tree, the barcode displays in Red text to indicate that it is still archived.

    Note:

Only barcodes/identifiers display in Red in the Genealogy tree; serialized, archived batches do not display in Red.
