Creating a dashboard is quick and easy in the website editing environment.
Open a browser window.
Log into the FactoryLogix website, then select Analytics.
Select the Create Dashboard button.
Enter a name and (optionally) a Description for the new dashboard, then select the Create
Select the Add Data Source button on the left side of the window.
Select a data source type: Area, Kit Group, Line, Stock Resource, or Workstation.
In the Name field, do one of the following:
Enter a letter (“d”, for example) to display all names starting with that letter.
To see the full list of available names, click in the Name field and press Enter, then use the page buttons or the scroll bar to locate the desired item.
Select the desired item, then select the Set button to create the data source and display it under Data Sources on the left side of the window.
Under Metrics, select the desired metric category: Performance, Quality, SMT Placement, Reports, Logistics, SPC, or General.
Expand the metric category to see the available individual metrics.
Drag a metric into the main area of the window.
A placeholder is displayed for the selected data source and metric (DPMO per Operation in the following example).
Note
If a metric isn’t compatible with a selected data source, it will be dimmed.
On the left side of the window, select the Set Data Source on Selected button to assign the data source you created to the selected metric (DPMO per Operation in this example).
In the upper-right corner of the metric, select the gear button to display three additional buttons:
Data Source – Select the Data Source button to show the data source selected for the metric. You can select a different data source from the available list if multiple data sources are available.
Options - Select the Options button to show the specific options that are available for this metric. (See the topic Metrics for Dashboards to view the detailed options for each metric.)
Remove – Select the Remove button to remove the metric from the dashboard.
Select Save in the upper-left corner of the window, then select the Save command to save the dashboard.
