FactoryLogix Server Management capabilities allow administrators and Aegis deployment personnel to do the following:
Select a default database and manage database connection settings
Manage FactoryLogix databases using a variety of utilities
Import a process definition file (*.flxp file) to a selected database
Configure and manage services settings (including xLink) and security settings
Manage system logging
View FactoryLogix licensing information
Configure and manage the Enterprise Warehouse (if purchased)
Important
When you install FactoryLogix, the Server Management application is installed in both the FactoryLogix Server folder and the FactoryLogix Applications folder. To ensure you have access to the full administrative capabilities of Server Management, always start the Server Management application from the FactoryLogix Server folder.
