  1. Log into the NPI client application.

  2. Select Libraries Libraries button > Assembly Library.

    Select an assembly from the library


  3. (Optional) Use the Search and Date Filtering options to help locate an assembly. (See the following table for details about search and filtering options.)

  4. Locate and select the assembly you want to open, then select OK.

    The assembly and BOM are opened in the Assembly window.

Tip

You can modify an assembly and its associated design files in the Assembly window or the NPI Process Definition window. The same editing features are available in both windows to format a BOM, edit ECAD or Gerber data, and make other changes to an assembly.
