Introduction
The FactoryLogix Universal machine interface (also referred to as Universal GSM) can produce properly formatted output files for a Universal machine in the following formats:
A formatted ASCII file that you can import as a CAD file into the GSM software.
A CDI file that is formatted for import directly into the machine for use by OS2 users. The CDI file contains all part number, package, feeder, and feeder location information.
A formatted CI2 file for Windows users and a kitting report with the generated program.
