Specify another variable

Another variable is required to add a text object to the label template that will be responsible for populating a different data field from FactoryLogix. Once the additional variable is added, you will assign it to the new barcode object you added in the label template.

Note:

Each variable linked to an object must be defined as Keyboard Input.

  1. In the NiceLabel main window, select Add new variable, enter a name for the new variable, then select Create variable.

Add and name a new variable

  2. Double-click the new variable in the tree, then select Prompt at print time and Remember the last-used value (dynamic value) on the General tab.

  3. On the Input rules tab, select Limit length and increase the Length to a value that will accommodate the data returned from FactoryLogix.
