Manual xLink Server configuration

Due to network topology, under certain circumstances the inForce device's discovery/pairing mode may not be available. In such cases, you can specify the xLink Server name or IP address manually using the following steps.

These steps must be done on the inForce device itself—the settings are not present in headless mode (where users are monitoring an inForce device remotely).

Select the Settings button (the gear) in the lower-right corner of the inForce application's Configured Devices window.
At the top of the window, enter the name or IP address of the default xLink Server.
Once connected, select the specific xLink Adapter instance on the xLink Server using the drop-down menu in the upper-right corner of the window (inForce 0 in the following illustration).
